Specialized Energized Training and Certification
Energized work requires highly trained and skilled workers. Harlan Electric partnered with a valued client and a nationally recognized leader in safety and energized line training to develop an in-depth, internal certification program for our already skilled journeymen. By partnering with industry leaders and skilled safety professionals, we developed a bare hand certification program that provides a full-service offering with an emphasis on safety. We are developing our training facility in Alvarado, Texas to provide this essential hands-on training. The specialized yard classes will allow trainers to safely replicate almost any type of field condition for energized or bare hand work.

Our teams are highly trained and experienced in providing energized construction and maintenance services on high-voltage transmission lines and other equipment, which avoids the disruption of power on our utility clients’ systems. We have completed a variety of live line projects throughout the upper midwestern and northeastern United States ranging in all sizes and requirements. Our collaborative partnerships with clients ensure we successfully meet the needs of the project and the stakeholders.
